The residential building in Werderstrasse, Berlin Tempelhog, is our answer to a contemporary energetic refurbishment. The 25 units got renewed and adopted to today's KfW standards. Heatbridges were minimized by deleting concrete building parts running through the thermal shell. Windows and balconies got bigger so the living quality of each unit improved. Altogether the new facade brick appears strong, robust and protects the insulation against possible damages. The old building now starts a new product life cycle.
